Functional Role & System Integration
CI867 connects the AC 800M controller environment to Modbus TCP devices over Ethernet. It can operate as a master polling connected devices or as a slave serving controller values to another Modbus TCP master. Channel addressing, network segmentation, function codes, register mapping, byte order and timeout strategy must be coordinated with the connected equipment.
