No. KRC4 identifies the controller family, but it does not by itself determine the correct KSP current class. The KSP 600 family includes 3X20, 3X40 and 3X64 versions. The installed module and robot configuration should be checked before selecting the replacement.
The KSP 600 variants differ in peak current capability. KSP600-3X64 is the 3 × 64 A class. Selecting a higher-capacity unit should still be evaluated against the installed robot configuration, motor requirements and controller setup rather than being treated as an automatic substitute.
KSP600-3X64 is part of the servo-drive chain controlling manipulator axes. A drive-side failure can therefore prevent normal axis movement, interrupt robot programs and stop the associated automated production operation until the drive system is restored.
The important identifiers are KSP600-3X64, KUKA order number 00-198-269 and type ECMAS3D7774BE531. Providing the installed robot or controller information together with the nameplate details gives the best basis for checking the intended replacement.
