The HIMA F3423 is an 8-fold relay amplifier module used in industrial safety and process control systems. Designed for the Planar F system, it provides eight isolated relay output channels to safely drive external devices like alarms and valves.

 

HIMA Planar System F

The HIMA Planar System F represents a modular electronic circuit system featuring Euro modules (100 x 160 mm) according to DIN 41494 and connectors type F according to DIN 41612 for designing hardwired control, annunciator and monitoring systems. It has been designed particularly for application with material process plants and has been developed on the basis of the experience gained over decades.

Since process plants generally involve large investments and partly feature very sensitive designs, they require highly reliable modules, which the HIMA Planar System F is able to guarantee due to four equally significant prerequisites:

     - reliable components with high quality,

     - all circuits dimensioned diligently,

     - use of mature manufacturing technology,

     - thorough and automatic testing procedures.

The operating voltage of the HIMA Planar System F is 24 V DC. Practice-oriented design and uncomplicated project planning enable an easy installation of control and annunciator systems.

The modules of the HIMA Planar System F can be used primarily for the following functions:

     - Systems annunciating new values, first values and motor status

     - Controlling and monitoring valves and drive units

     - Binary controls (AND, OR, NOT, timer, pulse, flip-flop)

     - Limit monitoring of analog values

     - Intrinsically safe input and output circuits

     - Safety controls featuring safety-related, TÜV approved modules

     - User related functions (in programmable modules)

The modules are inserted into 19-inches subracks (according to DIN 41494 / IEC 297), arranged in cabinets or racks, and they are connected to the plant by means of terminals or cable plugs. The delivery of complete control and annunciator systems includes planning, installation, wiring and checks, including simulation test.
