A long-cable, open-end configuration
PR6424/000-031 uses the 16 mm PR6424 sensing format. Its configuration differentiates it from armored and LEMO-ended versions through the cable and sleeve arrangement.

02 · Does the 031 suffix mean the sensor has a different measurement principle? No. It remains a PR6424 16 mm eddy current sensor. The suffix identifies configuration choices rather than changing the basic sensing principle.
03 · Is the 8 m cable part of the PR6424/000-031 configuration? Yes. The configuration uses an 8.0 m cable with an open cable end. Cable length and termination should be matched to the installed measurement chain.
04 · What mechanical thread is used by PR6424/000-031? The configuration uses the M18×1.5 sleeve thread. This should be confirmed against the existing mounting arrangement before replacement.
