The PR9268-201-100 belongs to the PR9268 electrodynamic velocity sensor family and is configured for vertical vibration measurement. It is intended for absolute vibration measurement on critical rotating machinery, including steam, gas and hydro turbines, compressors, pumps and fans.

The “20” measurement designation specifies the vertical sensor orientation. The “1” cable designation corresponds to a 5 m armored cable, while the cable-end designation “1” specifies an open cable end. This configuration should be matched with the existing monitoring chain before replacement.

Check the transducer circuit and insulation resistance. For the PR9268/20x-x00 family, insulation resistance is specified above 1 MΩ when tested at 500 V AC. 02 · Unexpected signal during movement check
A moving PR9268/20x-x00 transducer can generate approximately 1–2 V AC depending on movement. A signal-generation check can therefore help distinguish a sensor circuit issue from a monitoring-chain issue. 03 · Replacement configuration mismatch
