The cable is an electrically matched link, not a general-purpose coaxial lead. Option 12 adds a FluidLoc construction that restricts oil and other liquids from migrating through the cable interior, while the connector protector adds environmental protection around the ClickLoc connection. The locking, gold-plated brass connectors help resist loosening in machinery environments.

The surrounding 3300 XL 11 mm system supports non-contacting radial vibration, axial position, position and Keyphasor measurements. Its 4.0 mm (160 mil) linear range and 3.94 V/mm (100 mV/mil) scale factor suit applications that need more measurement range than the standard 8 mm system.
The cable itself does not perform the measurement. Measurement performance depends on the correct 11 mm probe, extension-cable length, Proximitor Sensor total-length option, target material and monitor channel configuration working together.

The 3500/22M 138607-01 Transient Data Interface (TDI) is the interface between the 3500 monitoring system and compatible software (System 1 Condition Monitoring and Diagnostic software and 3500 System Configuration software). The TDI combines the function of a 3500/20 Rack Interface Module (RIM) with the data collection capability of a communication processor such as TDXnet.
