The Bently Nevada 3300 XL Proximity Transducer System series includes two models, 8 mm and 11 mm,

and is widely used for vibration and displacement measurement of fluid film bearing machinery. The Bently

Nevada 3300 XL Proximity Transducer System is an eddy current sensor system that is widely used for

vibration and displacement measurement of fluid film bearing machinery.

 

1. 3300 XL 8 mm Eddy Current Sensor System

Measurement Range: 2 mm (80 mils). Linear range starts at approximately 0.25 mm (10 mils) from the probe

tip to the target surface and ranges from 0.25 to 2.3 mm (10 to 90 mils), corresponding to an output voltage of

approximately -1 to -17 Vdc.

Measurement Accuracy: 7.87 V/mm sensitivity at 1 or 5 m for standard 8 mm systems,

±5% error, for 0 to +45°C temperature range.

Frequency Response: 0 to 10 kHz, +0, -3 dB. Maximum field wiring length is 305 m.

System Length Options: 5 or 9 m including extension cable, or 1 m without extension cable.

Probe Types: Available in a variety of diameters and lengths, customizable as needed.

Temperature: -51°C to +177°C (-60°F to +351°F)

Hazardous Area Approvals: CSA, ATEX, IECEx, etc.

 

2. 3300 XL 11 mm Eddy Current Sensor System

Measurement Range: 4 mm (160 mils). Linear range starts at approximately 0.5 mm (20 mils) from the probe

tip to the target surface and ranges from 0.5 to 4.5 mm (20 to 180 mils), corresponding to an output voltage of

approximately -1 to -17 Vdc.

Measurement Accuracy: Sensitivity is 3.94 V/mm (100 mV/mil) with an error of ±10% for a temperature range

of 0 to +45°C.

Frequency Response: 0 to 8 kHz.

System Length Options: 5 or 9 meters including extension cable.

Head Type: Available in a variety of thread sizes and configurations, including 1/2-20 UNF, 5/8-18 UNF, M14x1.5,

and M16x1.5, with armored or unarmored options.
