Measurement Characteristics

The complete 3300 XL 8 mm transducer system produces an output voltage directly proportional to the distance between the probe tip and the conductive target.

A standard 5-meter system provides a 2 mm linear range and a nominal incremental scale factor of 7.87 V/mm, or 200 mV/mil.

Interchangeable System Architecture
3300 XL 8 mm components are electrically and physically interchangeable with non-XL 3300 5 mm and 8 mm components, subject to the applicable system performance limitations.
For a complete 3300 XL 8 mm arrangement, the probe, extension cable and Proximitor Sensor should be selected as a compatible system configuration.
