The 3300 XL 8 mm proximity system is used where accurate shaft displacement information is important to machinery protection and condition monitoring. The probe works with the associated extension cable and Proximitor sensor to provide measurement of the distance between the probe tip and the observed conductive surface.
Typical monitoring applications include fluid-film bearing machines and measurements associated with shaft vibration, position, Keyphasor and speed.
