The Bently Nevada 330101-00-28-10-02-05 is a 3300 XL 8 mm proximity probe. Used with the matching extension cable and Proximitor sensor, it converts the distance to a conductive target into a proportional voltage for static position and dynamic vibration measurement.

No. It is the probe component. A complete 3300 XL 8 mm system also requires a compatible extension cable and Proximitor sensor with the correct total system length.
What should be checked before replacing an installed probe?
Confirm the full ordering code, thread, case length, cable length, connector, approvals and the matching extension cable/Proximitor system length.
Does the probe measure shaft vibration directly?
The probe senses the gap to a conductive target. Together with the extension cable and Proximitor, the system provides a voltage proportional to position; changes in that voltage represent dynamic vibration.
Where is the 3300 XL 8 mm system commonly installed?
