Allen-Bradley 41391-701-51 is a slim-line dynamic-braking resistor module engineered for PowerFlex 700S and 700H AC drives up to 40 Hp. Delivering a continuous 400 W dissipation at 47 Ω, the unit clamps DC-bus over-voltage during rapid decel or high-inertia loads, eliminating nuisance over-volt trips. The wire-wound element is embedded in a flame-proof cement core and housed in an IP20 zinc-coated steel frame that mounts horizontally on 35 mm DIN-rail or direct panel screws, saving valuable cabinet depth. Thermal overload protection is built-in, opening the brake-chopper enable line at 200 °C resistor temperature. Weighing only 1.2 kg and measuring 193 mm × 57 mm × 60 mm, 41391-701-51 is the maintenance-free braking solution that keeps compact drives running smoothly without external cooling.
